We began creating this piece of work much like any other devised group performance. First we needed an idea. This idea or stimulus would be the foundation to which we would work around when choreographing our performance. This caused problems of its own, many problems. We found it difficult to define our intentions as we continued to accumulate numerous ideas for what our performance should be about. However, it was apparent from the outset that the piece would be driven by our individualities and the group’s dynamic. In conclusion leading us toward a devised piece that would reflect the group’s moral standings, ethical beliefs and collaborative characteristics.
